The Wonderlab way

Wonder is a
way of thinking.

When children understand why something happens, they can do more than recall the answer. They can use what they know.

01 — Our Approach

Make room
for questions.

Strong foundations in Maths and Science grow through curiosity and clarity. At Wonderlab, students are encouraged to notice, ask, discuss and connect ideas to what they already know.

Our teaching makes concepts approachable, with structured guidance and opportunities to practise explaining ideas in their own words. Learning is purposeful, supportive and built around understanding in Maths and Science.

From wonder
to understanding.

Three simple habits help learning take root and move beyond the page.

01

Notice

Look closely at a question, observation or everyday phenomenon. Start with what is there.

02

Understand

Unpack the ideas behind a question. Make sense of the key concepts and how they relate.

03

Apply

Practise using what you know, and explain your thinking with greater confidence.

What learning can feel like

More than
the right answer.

01 A clearer grasp of key concepts

02 Greater confidence expressing ideas

03 Stronger connections across topics
